Greg started the boat transport business from scratch in Mona Vale, Sydney, in 1979, with just Greg as the driver.  A little while later he met Vicki who eventually decided to assist Greg with managing the business, as it was growing quite rapidly.  The business was named Allboat Transport in 1983.

The new boats we carried in those days were Mariner Cruisers, Hobie Cats, Cuddles Cruisers, Honeymoon Cruisers, Northshore Yachts, Ranger Cruisers and later, Riviera and Mustang Cruisers, to name a few. Plus we carried boats of all sizes back then.

Greg continued driving to some extent, but as demand for boat transport grew, the company employed and trained drivers.  As demand increased, so did the size of the vessels required to be carried.  We then decided that Allboat Transport should specialise in the larger vessels (say, about 25 feet up).

In 2000, Allboat Transport re-located to the Gold Coast in Queensland, as that was where the majority of boat builders were located.  We have been operating from the Gold Coast ever since.
