Bush and Boat

Alex has been paddling kayaks since he was a kid (not really that long he insists) and loves introducing people to kayaking in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. He has raced successfully in flat water marathon, sprint and surf skis and has also worked as a surf life saver.

Since moving back to far north Queensland he has found a new passion for sea kayaking and downwind ski paddling.

When not running tours, he is usually seen out on his surf ski, catching waves and exploring the coast.

He has a particular interest in the amazing biodiversity of our World Heritage listed Reef and Rainforest, and loves sharing this with his guests.

By only running small group tours, he is able to provide a personalised service, and match the tour and equipment to the guests. Beginners will be well supported and experienced paddlers will be able to stretch themselves or try out new skills.
