INTRO LESSONS

Designed for anyone who wants to give surfing a try, we promise to give you an authentic taste of surfing with these intro surf lessons, useful safety information about waves and the beach, and a smile that you won’t be able to wipe off for hours!

Rates

1 Lesson – $50 per Person (Ages 4+)
2 Lesson Pack – $100 per Person (Ages 4+)
3 Lesson Pack – $135 per Person (Ages 4+)

Can you imagine yourself riding a wave on the beautiful Sunshine Coast? Our popular group beginner surfing lessons will get you safely up and onto your first wave before you’ve had time to worry about falling off. Our group sessions are no more than 6 students to assure that you get plenty of time with your coach. One off sessions and packages available. These classes will give you the basic techniques you need to get started in surfing, and introduce you to the skills required to ride waves.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private surf lessons are ideal for beginner or intermediate surfers to develop their skills at a personal pace.

Hours

Tuesday to Sunday, 8am

A private lesson gives the surfer more opportunity to enhance skills and surf knowledge at a faster rate. The lesson allows the coach to focus on the individual’s technique and understanding of instructions in a more focused and dedicated way.

Whether you’re a beginner or intermediate surfer, a private lesson is a great opporunity to build your confidence and focus on skill development.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM

Sign your kids up to learn lifelong skills with the XL Surf Academy these school holidays with the school holiday programs. Mums & dads can join in too!

SCHOOL HOLIDAY SPECIAL: $180 for 5 day program (2 days free!)
5 Day Program (Typically Mon – Friday, Refer to Calendar) – $240
3 Day Program (Typically Mon-Wed & Wed-Fri, Refer to Calendar) – $180
5 Day Family Discount for 2 Adults & 2 Children Under 12 – $720 (10% off!)

Our school holiday programs are perfect for people looking to learn rapidly over the holiday break. People of all ages from first-timers to intermediates and elite surfers will have the opportunity to take part in the 5 and 3 day programs. Students rapidly increase their skills and surfing techniques the more they get in the water with our skilled coaches.

Our lessons focus on strength, confidence, skill and technique. Attendees will be placed into levels according to their skill in groups of 5 or 6 students per coach. All sessions run for 1 ½ hours per day within the same week.

We also offer a family package for 4 people…so mum and dad can join in the fun too.
