SUP Noosa Lessons
Lessons are 90 minutes & include board and paddle, safety advice, instruction on paddle strokes and turns to control board direction.
Lessons are held on the calm waters of the Noosa River & waterways , the perfect environment to learn and build your confidence.Lessons are a great way to have fun with friends, family, as a team building event or social group event. Enjoy time out from hustle of work.

Stand up paddle surfing is a traditional Hawaiian sport which promotes balance, strength and general fitness. It is excellent for surfers and non-surfers alike, as it provides an isometric workout that strengthens your core muscle groups, while giving you a fun and exciting way to view the natural surroundings.SUP provides a superior core workout on both flat water and amongst the waves. It is an ideal sport for cross-training as it brings together leg, back, feet, arm, neck & stomach muscles in a display or core strength and balance.
Health and fitness experts all over the world are quickly catching up with the outstanding cross-training benefits of SUPS, with several personal trainers in France, England, Australia and the US incorporating the sport into their sessions.
Noosa is the perfect location to SUP!
With kilometres of pristine waters, river, canals, surf breaks and protected bays, Noosa provides the ideal SUPing experience for beginners to the advanced, flat water or surf.
For the flat water SUPer, the Noosa River is one of the great places to SUP, combining crystal clear water, sand beaches & wildlife. Paddle around the quiet waters of the canals of Noosa Sound and it’s million dollar plus homes or explore the Noosa River from the mouth and Noosa Spit Dog Beach, great for dog SUPing, through Noosaville, past the Noosa Marina & Tewantin. Stop off at any of the waterfront restaurants & cafes along Gympie Terrace for a break in your paddling.
For an early morning SUP, paddle the glassy waters of Noosa Sound. Start your paddle from Lions Park, plenty of parking for the early paddler and head off south west past the waterfront houses. An easy 30 minute paddle will bring you to Quamby Place & Munna Point. Continue under the bridge towards the Noosa River, then turn right and head north west back towards your starting point. Paddle in close to the waterfront homes or head toward Noosa Woods and it’s moored boats, past Sheraton Noosa, under the bridge and back to your starting point, in all about a 60 minute paddle. Tie your SUP on the car and head across to Hastings Street for a well earned breakfast!
For a paddle later in the day, pull into the little cove at Quamby Place, a small group of shops on the corner of Noosa Parade will help refresh for the paddle back.
For that sunset SUP, simply head to Gympie Terrace, Noosaville, pick a spot and paddle the Noosa River
and watch the sunset over Mt Cooroy.
