Cruise 'n' canoe through the ancient landscapes, mirrored waterways and sub-tropical rainforest of Australia's Everglades.

The trip starts with a trip over lake Cootharaba before entering Australia’s Everglades. First stop is at Fig Tree Point where you will board your canoe – then paddle upstream in your classic Canadian style canoe through ancient landscapes, mirrored waterways and sub-tropical rainforest to rejoin your tour group. Enjoy a delicious morning tea prepared by your tour guide in the tranquil surrounds of historic Harry’s Hut. After morning tea experience the magnificent wonders of the Everglades recognised as one of the most spectacular canoeing adventures in Australia – a place you MUST see to believe. Enjoy a leisurely river cruise with your tour group back to habitatnoosa where a delicious roast lunch awaits you.

First stop is at Fig Tree Point where you will have the opportunity to do a small 400m rainforest walk before entering the mirrored waters of the Everglades. Take in the breathtaking views from the comfort of the boat whilst going upstream through ancient landscapes, mirrored waterways and sub-tropical rainforest. Enjoy a delicious morning tea prepared by your tour guide in the tranquil surrounds of historic Harry’s Hut. After morning tea the tour will make its way through the Everglades again and back to habitatnoosa where a delicious roast lunch awaits you.

The Noosa River system is unique as its entire upper catchment is protected in National Park. Throughout your cruise take the opportunity to observe and photograph the abundance of wildlife in their natural habitat. Over 44% of all Australia’s bird species reside within this spectacular region – which is more than Kakadu National Park in an area 25 times smaller. “Discover an unspoiled part of Noosa – Australia’s Everglades. If it’s boating, canoeing, kayaking or SUPs you’re looking for, we have an extensive range of craft and safety gear for hire. Our lake is the perfect place to learn and our experienced staff are on hand to give you advice and a full safety orientation and give you the rundown on the local secrets on where to go and what to look out for. Explore Noosa River and the magnificent Everglades in your own time visiting out of the way places filled with birdlife, the tannin rich water reflecting the sky. Our range of water craft for hire includes:
